MILWAUKEE, WI, June 12, 2025 â€� Steele AG°Ù¼ÒÀÖ(¹ú¼Ê)¹ÙÍø, a leading manufacturer of engineered steel mezzanines and work platforms, has achieved a major milestone in its continued growth journey: the company is now officially certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) as a structural steel fabricator.

This new distinction underscores Steele AG°Ù¼ÒÀÖ(¹ú¼Ê)¹ÙÍøâ€� long-standing commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. It also positions the company for expansion into new markets.

A Company-Wide Commitment to Quality

The certification process took approximately 11 months and required full participation across departments—from sales and design to supply chain, manufacturing, and post-sales support. The effort involved creating a 100-page Quality Manual, submitting over 200 pages of documentation for review, and implementing new procedures to align with AISC’s published standards.

Steele AG°Ù¼ÒÀÖ(¹ú¼Ê)¹ÙÍø also invested in a new QMS software platform, QCBD (Quality Collaboration by Design), which allows for improved process documentation, audit planning, and real-time data management.

One of the key contributors to the certification effort was Xander Morales-Colon, who joined Steele AG°Ù¼ÒÀÖ(¹ú¼Ê)¹ÙÍø as an intern specifically to support the initiative. Following his instrumental role in developing the quality manual and procedures, Morales-Colon was hired full-time as a Quality Systems Engineer after graduating from MSOE with a bachelors in Industrial Engineering.

“It really was a team effort,� saidKaisler. “Everyone stepped up to help us define what we do, how we do it, and how we can make it better.�

It also provides practical benefits, particularly for contractors working in industries where AISC certification is often a prerequisite for permitting, inspection, or bid eligibility.
